The HSJC will be hosting our semiannual Dr. Galen Heyne Rabies Clinic on Saturday, October 12th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jefferson County Fair Park. Rabies vaccinations will cost $15.00 each, which can be paid by check, cash, or credit card.All rabies vaccinations will be good for one year unless a rabies certificate is provided as proof of a current rabies vaccination, in which case a three-year vaccine may be given. Rabies tags cannot be accepted as proof of a current rabies vaccination.
All cats must be contained in carriers and all dogs must be on leash.

Save time by pre-registering for the rabies clinic! Provide us with your pet’s information and payment (optional) ahead of time and we’ll have the forms filled out and waiting for you on the day of the clinic. It is not required, but will help make the process faster for all. Please note, if you want a 3-year vaccination for your pet, you must still bring a current rabies certificate, even if you pre-register.
