DP-600 Crash Course: Fabric Analytics Engineer in a Day
About this Event
Looking to earn the Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification? This crash course is designed to give you a strong, structured head start in a single day.
As part of Data Days, the Orange County Microsoft Fabric User Group is hosting a focused 5-hour session (lunch included) covering the core skill areas tested on DP-600: Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric. In addition, the session will also cover how you can obtain a free certification voucher through Microsoft as a part of Data Days.
You will learn from four people working at the center of the Fabric ecosystem:
- Samson Truong: Microsoft Fabric MVP, Data and AI Consultant
- Jen Beiser: Director of Cloud and AI Platforms at Microsoft
- Chandra Subramanya: Director, Digital Specialist at Microsoft
- Suresh Swaminathan: Digital Technical Specialist at Microsoft
Over the session, we will walk through the skill areas the exam measures:
- Maintain a data analytics solution: workspace management, security, and solution lifecycle.
- Prepare data: ingesting, transforming, and modeling data across lakehouses and warehouses.
- Implement and manage semantic models: designing and optimizing models for performance.
- Exam preparation and Q&A: exam-day strategy, common pitfalls, and time for your questions.
This session is ideal for users who want to take Power BI to the next level, data analysts, BI developers, and data engineers who want a clear, efficient on-ramp to DP-600 and a working understanding of analytics on Microsoft Fabric.
