We are already at the close of 2025 and what a year it has been. It started with unprecedented attacks on environmental and racial justice advocacy by the Trump Administration, and continued with historic roll backs on climate and civil rights laws that will impact us for decades.

Despite these attacks, we are still here fighting and winning campaigns to improve public health and quality of life in North Texas.

When the Trump Administration cancelled our $500,000.00 EPA grant to improve our SharedAirDFW network, we sued them AND y’all closed the gap on our critical repairs to get the network back online.

When the State and City changed the pathway to removing toxic polluters from our neighborhoods, we strategized and fought back with your help to forge a new path.

Downwinders was made for this moment. We are supported by people in North Texas who know the value of our work because you feel the direct benefits of our wins.
