Gidday folks,The City of Munich has approved the staging of the Downunder Fest for the third time in the long and storied history of this fair city. The three-day festival will be held on the Rindermarkt (next to the Marienplatz) on 30 August to 1 September inclusive.
More details will follow, but for a heads-up you can stay on instagram or facebook for details on the acts and what can be expected.
Apart from great Australian musicians and wine, you can also watch australian sporting exhibitions and competitions whilst dining on fish & chips, lamingtons, meat pies and more.

Die Stadt München hat die Ausführung des Downunder Festes genehmigt, das zum dritten Mal in München veranstaltet wird. Das dreitägige Festival wird vom 30. August bis einschließlich 1. September auf dem Rindermarkt stattfinden.
Weitere Einzelheiten werden noch bekannt gegeben, aber Ihr könnt Euch auf Instagram and Facebook schon einmal einen Überblick über die Künstler und die zu erwartenden Veranstaltungen verschaffen. Neben australischen Musikern und Wein werden wir auch australische Spezialitäten vor Ort anbieten.
