Looking to meet new people without the awkwardness of a traditional networking event?
The Above the Canal Dinner Club brings together small groups of six for dinner at locally owned restaurants throughout northern Delaware. Whether you've recently moved to the area, want to expand your social circle, or simply enjoy good conversation over a great meal, this is an easy way to connect with others.
How it works
After registering, you'll complete a short questionnaire to help us organize the event.
The day before the event, you'll receive an email revealing your assigned restaurant, table, and arrival instructions.
Groups dine at different Downtown Wilmington restaurants beginning at 6:30 PM.
After dinner, everyone is invited to an optional nearby hangout where all of the dinner groups come together for drinks and conversation.
Your ticket includes
• Intentionally assembled groups
• Your dinner reservation
• Access to the optional after-dinner gathering
Dinner and drinks are purchased separately from the restaurant.
You'll leave having shared a memorable evening with people you likely wouldn't have met otherwise.
Space is limited, and registration closes once all seats are filled.
