Downtown Tracy Community Benefit District Informational Meeting

On August 19, 2025, the Tracy City Council adopted a resolution to establish the Downtown Tracy Community Benefit District (DTCBD). The renewal and expansion of the district depended on ballots from property owners within the district voting either for or against the renewal. With 80.624% of ballots in favor, the district was officially formed. This district will generate funding to support downtown activities detailed in the District Management Plan, including marketing, maintenance, and events.

The City of Tracy’s Economic Development Division is holding a meeting to share information about the DTCBD with property and business owners within the district. This meeting will provide legislative and background details on the formation of the district, the approved District Management Plan, and the process and timeline for selecting an owners’ association that will oversee the implementation of the plan.
