Downtown Evanston is excited to share Downtown Summer Sounds, a free outdoor concert series on Thursdays, 5-7PM from July 11 to September 26.
Join us on August 8 for a concert by The Mixx Company Band, a group of live and studio performers who specialize in R&B, Smooth Jazz, Soul, Funk, Blues and Classic Rock. The concert is presented in partnership with Evanston Cradle to Career which will provide activities during the event.
Beer, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase from Sketchbook Brewery and Five & Dime and food will be available from a few Evanston-based food trucks.

Please note that the concert will take place on Sherman and Orrington Avenues, which will both be closed to vehicle traffic between Grove and Davis Street. If you're driving into Downtown Evanston for the concert series, we recommend parking in the Sherman Plaza Self Park garage--it's only a block away from Fountain Square.
