Downtown Repair Clinics
For Summer sessions, we will be focusing on specific topics/materials that staff can help with.
June: Camping and Outdoor Materials -- tent fabrics and poles, tarps, shoe repair, sleeping bags, etc.
July: 3D Printing -- small repairs and accessibility tools -- if you have an item missing a small piece that could possibly be 3D printed, we'd love to try! We need you to bring your item to the library so we can take a look, or email us at least 3 pictures so we can estimate the part/piece to be replaced. If any of you are familiar with 3D printing, we use TinkerCad software -- please reach out if you're interested in helping!
August: Small electrical and technology repair -- we will begin to attempt helping solder wires for small items like lamps, clocks, coffee machines, etc. -- again, you can email photos or bring something for us to review in advance.
All our current tools and supplies will still be available at every cafe so still come on down to repair your things.
