Downtown Queer Crafting Group

Location: YDL-Michigan (Program Room)
Join us at the Michigan Avenue library for our monthly bring-your-own-materials program! We meet the second Monday of each month from 6-8pm.
This program offers space and time to connect over a mutual love of crafting and creating. Folks of the LGBTQIA+ community (ages 18+) are invited to bring projects to work on and build a creative community.
Have a pile of stuff you've been saving for a personal art project? Just want to zone out and color or draw for an hour? Get out of the house and be in a creative shared space. We welcome paints, fiber arts (sewing, knitting, etc.), paper crafts, drawing, writing, digital arts, and more.
Questions or comments? Contact YDL Librarian Aaron Smith at [email protected] or 734-482-4110 x2421 for more information.
