About this Event
Practice your photography in a fun group setting! We will walk around Calgary's Downtown neighbourhood to practice photography as a group. It's a good opportunity to try out street, architecture, portrait, abstract, and other types of photography.
This will be an Exposure Photography Festival edition photo walk. We'll start off by checking out our exhibition, Passing by: Calgary Moments at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. Afterwards, we'll explore Stephen Avenue and the nearby area and make our way towards Contemporary Calgary to visit Exposure's main exhibition. At some point during the walk, we'll stop at a cafe to get a complimentary warm refreshment.
The Downtown Photo Walks are hosted monthly in partnership with the Calgary Downtown Association (@downtowncalgary).
All levels are welcome and mobile phone cameras are perfectly fine if you don't own a DSLR or mirrorless camera.

- Feel more safe and comfortable while wandering around with your camera.

Please dress for the weather and be on time. We will depart from the meetup location 10 minutes after the start time.
