Downtown Petoskey Dog Days of Summer

Dog Days of Summer in Downtown Petoskey are a time to celebrate our four-legged friends! This week will have different dog-oriented activities each day, with a focus on finding fur-ever homes for shelter and rescue dogs. Check back for more details, but here is what we are planning so far:
All Week - Find the Shop Dog scavenger hunt. Downtown loves dogs and has many shop and office associates of the canine variety. Match the dog photo with the business and enter a drawing to win Downtown Dollars!
Shelter Day Monday - At Grandpa Shorter's Gifts, the Little Traverse Humane Society will have dogs looking for homes and Amelie Anastasia will be at the store signing her new book: "Shelter Dogs: Stories of Rescued Fur-ever Friends."
Trolley Tuesday - Get a photo of your dog and others on the Downtown Trolley 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Working Dog Wednesday - meet working dogs in Pennsylvania Park (time TBD)
Thursday - TBD
Friday - Rescue Group Meet Ups - 4-6 p.m. Pennsylvania Park
Saturday - Pup Cup Social at Grandpa Shorter's Gifts. Time TBD
Sunday - Ruff Life Ramble - walk your dog with the Ruff Life Crew. 2:00 p.m. weather permitting (less than 78 degrees).
