Downtown Novato Housing & Transit Tour
About this Event
Curious about the new housing coming to Novato? Want to get to know your neighbors? Interested in contributing your ideas to a more connected and safe community?
Join Greenbelt Alliance for a walking tour of downtown Novato. During the one-mile walk, we will observe some of the existing, proposed, and in-progress housing developments, taking a firsthand look at what's being built and where. Along the way, we'll explore local businesses and how to ensure folks can get around safely, with a focus on improvements to walking and biking infrastructure.
This tour is for those who want to get to know our downtown better, explore the changes taking shape, and engage in needed improvements.
A few things to know before you go:
- We'll be walking along active, busy streets for parts of the route.
- Given traffic conditions, this tour is not recommended for young children.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes and expect to be outside.
