Join us for another night of Downtown Middleton Summer Fun on Thursday July 29th!This week we will have music by Too Sick Charlie. With his cigar box guitars, Too Sick Charlie picks out hip-grinding licks and lays down some solid beats with his suitcase drum and tambourine snare. It’s a sound and playing style that is deceptively larger than it seems. Too Sick Charlie was selected as winner of the 2021 Paramount Blues Challenge (solo/duo act) and will be headed to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis next January.
Come early for a free beginner harmonica lesson for kids ages 5 and up between 5:30-5:50pm. The lesson includes a free harmonica (while supplies last).
The Middleton Arts Committee is sponsoring a free arts and crafts table for children. The Library will bring an outreach table and hula hoops. There will also be street chalk available to use.
There are picnic tables on the green, and feel free to bring a chair or picnic blanket to enjoy the fun. Special thanks to the Middleton Community Development Authority for organizing the Summer Fun, and we hope to see you at Stone Horse Green on Thursday!
