The ArtWorks Westfield Downtown Live! Friday Night Summer Concert Series is BACK for Season Six in the heart of downtown Westfield.Launched in the summer of 2018 in the cozy confines of the performance space adjacent to Mina's Wine & Spirits, this downtown Westfield eight-week summer concert series tradition moves across Elm Street into the new Elm Street Plaza adjacent to Blended Vintage Market Place.
These FREE community musical experiences happen each Friday evening from 7-9pm from June 28th to August 16th with several rain dates built into the mix. Beverages served up by White Lion Brewing Company will be available for purchase at each performance. All bands in the 2024 line-up have a connection to Westfield! The 2024 line-up has something for everyone.
Week Two of the 2024 Downtown Live! Summer Concert Series happens on Friday July 5 featuring The 413s on the Westfield Bank Stage at the new Elm Street Plaza in downtown Westfield. Westfield Bank is a major supporter of ArtWorks Westfield, with a particular interest in the Downtown Live! Friday Night Summer Concert Series, so we’ve named the stage after Westfield Bank!
The Downtown Live! Friday Night Summer Concert Series is FREE to the community to attend! The performance space opens at 6:00pm, White Lion Brewery opens at 6:30pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm. Bring a lawn chair, picnic blanket and your dancing shoes! Yes there will be dancing!! Bringing alcohol into the performance space is prohibited.
About The 413s:
The 413s are a young, vigorous and fresh rock and roll band with blues roots hailing from the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. Known for their youthful energy and fun performances, they are quickly making a mark on the Western Massachusetts music scene. Despite their age ~ all band members are in their very early 20s or younger ~ The 413s boast extensive stage experience, having played nearly one hundred shows throughout the region, with many more lined up for the balance of 2024.
The band has opened for national acts at the Worthington Golf Club, earned accolades for their original songs at the Valley Music Showcase, and consistently drawn crowds at iconic local venues like The Southwick Inn and East Mountain Country Club. They’ve also made a name for themselves at community events such as Chester on Track, Celebrate Southampton, and various Halloween festivities around the Pioneer Valley. In their hometown of Huntington, MA, they’ve organized free community shows and special benefit concerts, including one to support a friend’s healthcare expenses.
The 413s mix covers from their inspirations—like the Rolling Stones, George Thorogood, and The Doors—with their own original rock songs. They've released numerous singles, with their track “Tomorrow” garnering over 10,000 streams online, building a strong following in Western Massachusetts and beyond.
In 2024, The 413s aspire to grow their audience across the state, expanding into the Berkshires and beyond the Connecticut River towards Worcester. With their dynamic blend of covers and original songs, they’re ready to take their high-energy performances to new heights. Don't miss the chance to join their thrilling musical journey!
