Downtown Dash 5K
About this Event
Join us for a morning of fitness, fun, and community at our annual Downtown Dash 5K hosted by the Southeast Financial Center Fitness Center (SEFC) in Downtown Miami!
Located in the heart of Downtown Miami, the SEFC Fitness Center offers 25+ weekly group fitness classes, Pilates Reformer services, personal training, an indoor basketball court, and much more. Beyond the gym, we're passionate about bringing our local community together through events that make fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
🏃 What to Expect
Everyone is Welcome!
This event is open to the public, so you don't need to be an SEFC member to participate. Bring a friend, family member, or coworker and enjoy a morning of movement with your Downtown Miami community.
Event Schedule
- 8:15 AM: Meet in the lobby of the Southeast Financial Center for a group warm-up and stretch session.
- 8:30 AM: The official 5K begins!
- After the Run: Refuel with complimentary water, electrolytes, and protein shakes.
- 9:30 AM: Stick around for a complimentary Power Sculpt group fitness class at SEFC!
All Paces Welcome
Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or prefer to walk, there's a place for you. Our staff will be positioned along the route to help guide participants and keep everyone on track. We'll have runners leading the pack, joggers in the middle, and a walking group for those who prefer a more relaxed pace.
Not ready to call it a morning after the 5K? Join us for our free Power Sculpt class at 9:30 AM and experience one of our group fitness offerings firsthand! After class, you're welcome to tour our facility and explore everything SEFC has to offer.
Thinking about becoming a member? As a special thank-you for participating, we'll waive our $50 initiation fee if you decide to join SEFC after the run or class.
