Join us every Thursday and Friday from 4:00pm - 5:30pm for Chess in the 1st floor main lobby. Downtown Chess meets in the 1st floor main lobby of the San Diego Central Library.
Limited tables will be set up in the 1st floor main lobby. Chess sets are provided but personal chess sets are allowed. Come by and practice playing in-person instead of on phone apps. Please have at least a basic knowledge of moves, as it is an in-person scrimmage and not a training class.

On most days, parking at the Central Library underground garage is free for the first two hours with ticket validation. To check the rates and see if special event pricing is in effect, please visit: mysdpl.org/parkingatcentral
