Downtown Atlanta Meetup

About this Event

This meetup will involve the common people of Atlanta, and people of the metro region as a whole, who wish to understand Downtown Atlanta better, while learning how to enjoy the city in ways that are different from the reputation of being a "destination city". I’ve learned how to enjoy this city in ways that don’t involve me spending money or having a clear goal for the day, but rather live in the moment and meet people of all walks of life while exploring downtown. I will announce the name of this new community-led organization and provide info with what the goals are, provide fun ideas that can be voted on by people, and listen to others voices on what they want from Downtown Atlanta. I will provide historical context to how well Downtown Atlanta has served the region and show that it can become a place of fun, safety, and enjoyment the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

I recommend taking MARTA to either Five Points or Garnett Station rather than driving.
