Join us for the Downer screenings of People Power Protestival and Turning the Ship, two short films about the extraordinary 2024 People’s Blockade of the World’s Largest Coal Port. The films tell the story of the passion and drive of Rising Tide and the events at the 2024 Blockade in Newcastle. The highs, the lows and the triumphs!
This is a family-friendly outdoor film screening (50 mins) + panel with filmmaker Luke Whitmore and Rising Tide community members.
Food and drinks can be purchased at Gang Gang Café, Downer.
Be inspired by the films, meet some of the Canberra Rising Tide community and get your questions answered. Find out about the 2025 blockade in November!
