DOWN IN THE BASEMENT 9 - Northern Soul at The Grove Theatre (Eastbourne)

We hope you can join us once again at The Grove Theatre, under the Central Library right in the heart of Eastbourne town, for another full evening of genuine ‘across-the-board’ Northern Soul.
Those of you who have joined us at our previous outings at this fab venue know how special it is to us. There is a great wooden dancefloor and separate break-out area with fully-licensed bar. The location is fantastic, and literally just a 2-minute walk from Eastbourne Railway Station (and main town centre bus stops).
We are really looking forward to welcoming back Mark Swift as our guest DJ on this occasion. 'Swifty' initially DJ'd for us back in 2004 when we were putting on dances at The Assembly Room in Eastbourne's Town Hall, and latterly at one of our events at The Fishermen's Club, so we know he'll bring some special tunes and treat us all to a selection of terrific sounds.
Entry will be limited to 100 people maximum to ensure it is comfortable for all and make sure there's plenty of dancing space, so head over to the following link to grab your tickets in advance before they are all gone. These will be at £6 each, with any that might be left over available on the door at £7.50 per person.

ACCESSIBILITY
At the present time we regret there isn't an access point to and from the venue that a mobility impaired person can use unaided. Sadly, no thought was given to such provision when buildings like the Central Library, in which the theatre is located, were designed.
This event may include sustained flashing lighting that could affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photosensitivities.
