👻 Doveridge Spooktrail 2026 🎃
Since its first edition during lockdown in 2020, the Doveridge Spooktrail has brought our village together for a Halloween full of spooky surprises, laughter and lasting memories.
For Marina, who has been part of the Spooktrail since the very beginning, it is much more than a Halloween event. It is a chance to create the same magical memories for the next generation of village children, while giving older children the opportunity to enjoy the fun with their friends.
From handing out sweets using a fishing rod and net during lockdown to being chased down the street by a neighbour dressed as a clown, Marina has grown up with the Spooktrail and has so many happy memories of the creativity, laughter and community spirit that make it special.
Now, as part of her personal challenge for 1st Doveridge Scout Group, Marina wants to help keep this wonderful village tradition alive.
🏠 Would you be happy to decorate your house and join in the fun?
Whether you go all out with spooky decorations, create something fun for the little ones or surprise us with something completely unexpected, every house that takes part helps make the Spooktrail special.

Let’s make more memories, bring the village together and give our children a Halloween to remember! 🕷️🦇
Can’t decorate?
No problem, you can still support the event by spreading the word, telling all your friends and family about it and of course joining in the hunt during the two Spooky nights
