One day training/gathering offered to local birth workers who want to grow their knowledge and skills surrounding labor and birth and feel more equipped for less than straight forward scenarios. Possible topics covered would include: transfers, advocating for your client vs against interventions, warning signs/symptoms to recognize, how to encourage rest in early/prodromal labor, labor patterns and what they could indicate and what you can do, as well as a discussion on boundaries and bit of dedicated time for self care.
