Join us for session one of our General class at the Douglas County Fairgrounds' Flory-West meeting hall! If you're interested in upgrading your amateur radio license, we will be teaching a General licensing class on March 21, 2026. This class is open to the public, so if you're interested, come and attend. Our instructors are experienced and will make the material easy to understand and work through.
We recommend you get an amateur radio study guide such as the one offered by the ARRL or Gordon West. To take a practice test or work through the practice questions, we recommend using www.hamstudy.org/.
NOTE: This is a two-part amateur radio licensing class. Part two will take place on April 4, 2026 at the Flory-West meeting hall located at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper Street, Lawrence, KS. At the second session, there will also be a test session following the second half of the class. If you're interested at taking your amateur radio test after the second session, we ask that you contact Bob Drake N0TFU to register for the test session OR send us a message and we will forward your information to Bob.
