Doug Pisik Open Studio Unique Wood Art Showing, Demo, and Sale!

Doug Pisik will be opening up his studio woodworking shop to the public during this special Open Studio event on Oct 4-5 & Oct 11-12 from 12:00pm - 5:00pm.

Available for viewing and purchase will be one-of-a-kind art boxes, 3D wall art, dynamic sculptures and more. Available will be everything from gift-priced items to fine art. Commissions will also be accepted on site if you don't find the perfect item.

Doug will be available to show off his workshop, explain the tools and the woods he uses, and answer your questions.

Doug is a nationally recognized artist who specializes in creating wood sculptures, 3D wall pieces and intricate art boxes with complex designs both inside and out. He uses a meticulous and unique approach to construct both geometrical patterns and freeform carvings while preserving the natural beauty of the diverse wood species he uses.

Recognized for his unique talent, Doug has been identified as a “Top Artist” by Marquis Who’s Who, been part of over twenty museum exhibitions, received awards in many juried exhibits of national artists, collaborated with other recognized artists, and is classified as a “Master Woodworker” from the Woodworker’s Guild of Georgia. He has accepted large commissions including several from Home Depot, Carnival Corporation, Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, and the Smith Gilbert Gardens.

His work is collected by Tony and Emmy award winners, movie producers, Pulitzer and Grammy nominees, CEOs, an art museum, botanical gardens, other artists, and can be found in collections coast-to-coast and in Europe and Israel.
