Join your library for a Wonka day as we host a double feature that will show you the first and the latest incarnation of the world of candymaker Willy Wonka. At this morning session, we’ll be showing 1971’s live-action adaptation starring Gene Wilder and Peter Ostrum. In this film, a poor but hopeful boy seeks one of five coveted golden tickets that will send him on a tour of Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. This film has a run time of 1 hour and 40 minutes and is rated G for all ages. Bring snacks and drinks to enjoy, then come out in the afternoon for another Wonka movie.
