@SONSOFHORROR presents HORROR CINEMA featuring a double feature of CHILD'S PLAY 2 (1990) & BRIDE OF CHUCKY (1998) and various horror-themed vendors. Two days and nights only! Please arrive early and visit all the vendors in our parking lot before or after the showings.

Please note, for purposes of crowd control, there will be no in-and-out privileges. Please remain inside the cinema building until both features have been seen. Parking lot vendors should be visited before entering the building or after watching both featured movies, not during the intermission. Vendors will close at 8:00 pm, so please arrive early for a chance to view all the displays.

CHILD'S PLAY 2 (1990) is a 1990 American slasher film and the direct sequel to "Child's Play," written by Don Mancini and directed by John Lafia, one of the co-writers of the first film. It is the second installment in the "Child's Play" franchise and set two years after the first film; the plot follows Charles Lee Ray (better known as Chucky) continuing his pursuit for Andy Barclay, who was placed in foster care, and transferring his soul into him after being resurrected. Alex Vincent and Brad Dourif reprised their roles while Christine Elise, Jenny Agutter, Gerrit Graham and Grace Zabriskie joined the cast.

"Child's Play 2" was released on November 9, 1990, exactly two years after the first film was released, and grossed over $35 million on a budget of $13 million. It was followed by a sequel, Child's Play 3, nine months later.

BRIDE OF CHUCKY (1998) a 1998 American black comedy horror film written by Don Mancini and directed by Ronny Yu. The fourth installment in the "Child's Play" franchise, it stars Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif, John Ritter, Katherine Heigl, and Nick Stabile. Unlike the first three films, Bride of Chucky takes a markedly humorous turn towards self-referential parody. It also departs from the Andy Barclay storyline of the first three films, focusing mainly on series villain Chucky, a doll possessed by a serial killer, and his former lover and accomplice Tiffany, whose soul is also transferred into a doll.

"Bride of Chucky" was released on October 16, 1998. The film grossed over $50 million worldwide on a budget of $25 million, and received mixed reviews from critics. A sequel, "Seed of Chucky," was released in 2004.

This is a double feature presentation. You will be allowed to stay for both features. There is a short 30 minute intermission between each showing. You may choose to watch either movie first. Please arrive early to visit with the parking lot vendors at this two-night only event.

WHAT TIME CAN I ARRIVE?

Attendees will be allowed to enter the auditorium up to 20 minutes prior to show time.

Free parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the Gardena Cinema on the north side.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY TICKET?

Upon purchase, ticket will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment from Eventbrite. When you arrive to the event, please show the entrance attendant the bar code on your ticket at the entrance to the cinema, either by holding up your printed version, or by displaying it on your phone or smart device. Attendant will scan it to check you in, and you'll be good to go into the auditorium!

CAN I BRING FOOD / SNACKS?

NO! This is an indoor screening. Please do not bring outside food or drinks inside the cinema. Tasty refreshments and fresh popped popcorn will be sold at the cinema snack bar.

WILL YOU HAVE RESTROOMS?

YES! Gardena Cinema's lobby, snack bar, and restrooms will be open.

MAY I BRING MY PET WITH ME?
