FRIDAY, DEC. 13: Join the Braided River crew for a special DOUBLE BEER RELEASE!
First up, we'll have The Great Destroyer, our double dry-hopped, double Brut IPA. It's our biggest beer to ring in the new year! This heavily Nelson Sauvin dry-hopped DIPA hits notes of crushed wine grapes, papaya, lychee, and passionfruit while maintaining a dry body and bubbly mouthfeel.
And we'll have the Barrel-Aged Night King! For our first long-boil stout, we knew we wanted to go big. We took only the first runnings of a huge mash and boiled that for 12 hours to create an extremely concentrated, super viscous, high gravity stout clocking in at 31º Plato. After fermentation, we aged it in a Willet 8-year-old wheated bourbon barrel for over two years to create the king of dark stouts.
Dec. 13 is LoDa ArtWalk night, so we'll also have a food truck and live holiday music! See you there!
