Ott was doomed to be a teenager in the cultural wasteland that was the mid-1980′s provincial England.
After a brief period wandering aimlessly through the hairsprayed deserts of New Romanticism and poodlerock
he found refuge in the warm, inviting sounds of Scientist, King Tubby, LKJ, and Prince Far-I and the effortless grace of European experimentalists Neu! and Kraftwerk.
The end of the 1980′s brought with it a cultural and musical revolution and Ott headed to London to immerse himself in the new energy. Initially unimpressed by the frantic, unmusical clatterings of acid house and “rave” he discovered a new wave of artists who apparently shared his love of organic dub and pristine electronics.
Artists such as The Orb, Dub Syndicate, FSOL and African Head Charge. These were people who were unafraid to combine bass-heavy rhythm, abstract soundscape and timeless melody into a huge, ever-shifting sonic universe which reflected perfectly the spirit of hope and positivity which prevailed.
It was at this point that Ott found his first work as an engineer in several studios around North London.
Working obsessively, 18 hours a day, seven days a week for the next ten years, Ott developed his engineer skills working with artists such as Brian Eno, The Orb, Youth, African Head Charge, Steve Hillage, and On-USound.
After mastering his studio skills, Ott celebrated the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st by giving it all up and moving to a remote cottage in South West England to be alone with his cats and his studio. Here he embarked on a series of sonic experiments, drawing heavily on the classic dub sounds from Jamaica and hypnotic electronic pulse from Germany which had provided such a refuge during the 1980′s.
A period of intense creativity followed, during which a great many tracks were created and then stashed away on tapes.
In the meantime, Ott hatched a plan to remix half a dozen or so classic Hallucinogen trance tracks and release them as dub mixes – slower, fatter and more chillout friendly. In 2002 the album “Hallucinogen in Dub” was released via Twisted Records to universal acclaim. Buoyed by the success of “Hallucinogen in
Dub”, the following years to come would see Ott gather together and release his sonic experiments on Twisted Record as the albums “Blumenkraft” and “Skylon”, as well as a whirl of gigs around the world, remixes for Shpongle, Entheogenic, Tripswitch, and collaborative projects like Umberloid (with Chris
Barker) and Gargoyles (with Simon Posford). During this time, Ott travelled the word, got married, welcomed his daughter Daisy to the world and recorded his fourth album, which he self released in 2011, entitled ‘Mir’.
In addition to hundreds and hundreds of headline club dates, Ott has performed worldwide at acclaimed
festivals such as Wakarusa, Camp Bisco, Rainbow Serpent, Glade, Sonic Bloom, Symbiosis, Lightning in a
Bottle, Tree of Life Festival, Big Up Festival, and many many more.

Electronic music grabbed Kukan Dub Lagan when he was 16-years-old and has yet to let go for more than 25 years now. In between then and now the international musician has worked as a sound engineer for one of the top sound and light companies in Israel, and played everywhere from Europe and Russia to Japan and New Zealand. To date, he has over a dozen releases to his name, including 2020’s ‘Searching For A Fogbow.’
An innovator and true creator in the electronic scene, Kukan Dub Lagan dropped his debut, ‘Life Is Nice,’ in 2004.Fusing ambient, dub, world, downtempo, funk, and the indescribable to create a unique journey full of groove, bass, and soulful sound - he notes that at the end of the day he composes “sunshine music for smiling people.”
Something the world continues to need daily.
Since his 2004 debut, this master of electronic sound has released a cascade of albums, EPs, and singles including 2009’s ‘New Life New Vision,’ 2013’s ‘Delicious Beats,’ and his latest release that centers around life, reality, and truth. “Gamut of Emotions” and “Reality is Quite Fugacious” for example, each presents a different side of his overall thematics while remaining individualistic and pure. “Gamut of Emotions” is otherworldly from the press of play, as“Reality Is Quite Fugacious” utilizes tension to drive the song to new levels. 11-tracks deep, this is a cinematic experience for fans of music that takes leaps and bounds to places many artists don’t even dare reach for.
In his lengthy career, Kukan Dub Lagan has been lucky enough to perform around the world in the underground scene, as well as at big-time festivals across the globe like Portugal's Boom Festival, Psy Fi in The Netherlands, and Sziget & Ozora in Hungary. He was also one of the pioneers of the Israeli chill out scene to perform worldwide. As the next 25 years get
underway, Kukan Dub Lagan’s plans remain the same; play live, make music, and make people smile around the world. Whether that is with his current album or the new one he’s working on, ‘Sorian,’ all thatmatters is that the music is there and that he can make the world better with it.

Daoine Sidhe is one of the solo projects of Phoebus. He’s one of the co-founders of Sonic Loom Music and director of the alternative/chillout department.
He was attracted by the music phenomenon in his early age, always searching for deeper meanings in every music style.
His first touch with electronic music was in 1998 and ever since became a lover of this style and its later developments.
In early 2000 he had already started making his own sounds with whatever equipment came in hand. After finishing his studies in Music Technology in 2007 he decided to really focus on what he likes best..making music !!
That's the time “Sygnals” project was born.
The "Daoine Sidhe" project (pronounces as Deenee Shee) is his approach in an experimental fusion of various electronic music styles, expressed through drifting downtempo moods & mysterious rhythms. Using the energy of Nature through field recordings, mingled, jingled and combined with musical imagination, in quest of imprinting nature’s complex tones!
For many years Phoebus is Djing in various indoor & outdoor locations, presenting quality sounds in both psychedelic & chillout moods.
