International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration held annually on or around September 15-ish. Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' beloved 2003 children's book, The Dot, encourages people of all ages to "make their mark" and embrace their artistic potential.
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit the library for the grand opening of the Dot Art Display, featuring artwork by Waterloo students. Enjoy a donut while supplies last.
10:30 AM: Head over to the Waterloo Urban Farmers Market for a special Storytime featuring a reading of The Dot!
Stay and enjoy additional Dot Day activities hosted by the farmers market, and explore other Dot displays around downtown Waterloo!
In case of rain, storytime will be held in Meeting Room AB.
