DOT Brew Tasting: The Barrel & The Board – A Beer & Cheese Pairing

We’re delighted to welcome Shane Kelly of Dot Brew, a brewer whose curiosity and craft have shaped some of the most distinctive beers coming out of Dublin today. Shane’s barrel‑aged blends, his knack for layering flavour, and his quietly obsessive approach to ingredients make his beers a joy to pair - especially with good cheese. Tonight is all about exploring that creativity together, tasting through the stories, the barrels, and the brilliant oddities that make Dot Brew what it is.

Each beer will be thoughtfully paired with it's own individual cheese, creating a series of one-to-one combinations designed to highlight the best of both. We’ll be pouring everything from Shane’s core Dot Brew favourites to a few of his barrel‑aged gems, each paired with some of our go‑to cheeses. Délice de Bourgogne with Pursuit of Juicy is an absolute standout - the kind of pairing that stops you mid‑conversation - and there are plenty more combinations lined up to set your taste buds alight. After a run of brilliant tasting evenings, this one feels like a real milestone for us: our first proper beer tasting in ages, and genuinely shaping up to be the best thing we’ve put on in a long time.

Doors open at 6.45pm with tasting starting promptly at 7pm - 9pm.
