DYD is a county-wide youth dance company offering high quality dance experiences, for young people who have a real passion and enthusiasm for dance and want to take that extra leap in training.
What to expect from class:
DYD Juniors members (ages 7-11yrs) can expect to learn contemporary dance foundations through creative exercises and dance sequences. The classes are fun and imaginative, building the confidence and creativity of our young movers! The level is suitable for all.
DYD classes take place at YMCA Dorchester, Sawmills Lane, DT1 2RZ, taking place on Sundays. Term fees are indicated below, DYD can offer a limited number of bursaries to support dancers to attend classes.
Term details:
Time: 10am-11am
Dates: Sunday 29th September - Sunday 15th December 2024 (no classes on Sunday 27th October and Sunday 3rd November 2024 for half term break)
Fee: £60 per term
The full term is open to new dancers, who can try a class for free and see if it's up their street before committing.
