Join us and learn to learn the tradition craft of Dorset Button making.
You will make 2 Dorset buttons, (you will have the option of turning them into broaches, keyrings or hanging decorations, please let us know on booking) we will start with a traditional button to get you used to the techniques used, then move on to a post or cherry tree, if your confident I am more than happy for you to start with one of the later 😊
You will learn casting, slicking, laying and rounding and a few embroidery stitches along the way.
This is another one of those meditative crafts where you completely loose yourself 🧘
All materials supplied along with a yummy Cream Tea.
