Dorothy’s Dishes is a local band dedicated to keeping honest, energetic music alive and kicking. Fueled by rhythmic acoustic guitars, tight harmonies, and a compelling live sound, our music bridges the gap between classic country traditions and timeless storytelling.
Our songwriting draws from a deep well of influences—ranging from old-school and Outlaw country like Willie Nelson, to legendary storytellers like Bob Dylan and John Prine, with a healthy dose of rock and roll energy. That blend comes to life on our album, Flatwater Revival. Born from a few locally inspired tracks, it grew into a full collection of Nebraska-focused songs written as a heartfelt tribute to our home state.
