It’s that time of year again — the Dorado Bonanza is back on Saturday, 20 December, and anglers across the coast are gearing up for one of the most exciting competitions on the calendar! With big fish, great vibes, and even bigger prizes, this is your cue to get those entries in and be part of the action.

17:00 – Registration
18:00 – Welcome & Skipper’s Briefing (under the tent)
📅 SATURDAY – 20 DECEMBER
(21 Dec allocated as Bad Weather Day)
⏰ 03:00 – Boat Launch at Vetchy’s Basin
⚠️ No lines in the water during launch
⏰ 04:30 – Fishing Starts
(Official hooter signals the start)
⏰ 11:00 – Weigh-In at the Tent
(Scales located at the tent)
⏰ 11:15 – Free Boerie Rolls for All Competitors
(Show your wristband)
⏰ 13:00 – Scales Close – No exceptions!
⏰ 13:00 – Prize Giving & Lucky Draws
Be there — you’ve got to be present to win!
🍔 Delicious Food & Ice-Cold Refreshments available all day!
