Doors Open Days - The National Robotarium

Situated at Heriot-Watt University campus on the outskirts of Edinburgh, the National Robotarium is a world-leading centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Opening in September 2022, the National Robotarium creates innovative solutions to global challenges, working directly with industry to research, test and develop robotic, AI and automated systems to have a positive impact on the economy and society​.

Join us on Saturday 28 September for Doors Open Days and take part in a 1-hour self-guided tour with staff on-hand to answer questions and provide information for you to find out more about our work and our facilities. You will have an opportunity to meet the Ameca humanoid, see a demonstration with a Boston Dynamics Spot robot, as well as test your robot operating skills with our VEX robotics clawbots and Spheroes.

Aged 8+ only. Chlidren must be supervised at all times.

Free parking is available in the Visitor Carpark situated next to the roundabout on Boundary Road. Blue Badge holders parking available outside the venue.

Public transport on Lothian Buses routes 34 or 25 stop outside the venue.
