Evadne from Spain are celebrating 20 years of creating powerful melodic doom/death metal, combining crushing riffs, orchestral arrangements, and deeply emotional melodies that move between despair, beauty, and catharsis. Over two decades, they have become one of the most respected names in the European doom scene, consistently delivering immersive and intense live performances.
In 2025, Evadne marked their anniversary with a special tour across South America, bringing their epic and melancholic sound to fans across the continent. Now, for the first time in Berlin, they will headline Doomed Metropolis 2026, closing the festival with a monumental performance that promises to be unforgettable.
Unverkalt is a German-Greek post-metal project, now based in Berlin, that blends atmospheric, dark soundscapes with powerful intensity, avant-garde structures, and a cinematic approach, combining elements of doom, post-metal, and black metal. Their music is inspired by European cinema, visual arts, and the human experience, resulting in immersive, emotionally charged compositions.
With their third album, Héréditaire, Unverkalt deliver what critics are calling their strongest and most expressive work yet — a dark, complex listening experience that balances hypnotic passages with explosive intensity and has received outstanding reviews across the underground scene.
Woe Unto Me is an Eastern European doom ensemble that creates melancholic soundscapes and brooding atmospheres, taking listeners on a journey through the abyss of the human psyche. Their latest work, Along the Meandering Ordeals, Reshape the Pivot of Harmony, exemplifies their unique approach to doom metal, blending intricate, evocative compositions with emotional depth.

Wooden Veins is a project of Chilean musicians now spread across different parts of Europe, with their creative headquarters in Berlin. Its members are seasoned musicians who have played in bands such as Mar de Grises, Poema Arcanus, and Mourning Sun, among others. The band blends the epic weight of classic doom metal with progressive, expansive, and melancholic soundscapes full of atmosphere and emotional depth.
The band has established itself within the European doom scene in recent years and has already toured Europe and appeared at festivals such as Darken the Moon, Under the Doom, Dutch Doom Days, and Doom Over Vienna.
Voidhaven was formed in Hamburg in 2016 by a group of experienced musicians also known for their work with Ophis, Fvneral Fvkk and Remembrance. Blending melancholic doom metal with elements of death metal, the band creates a dense and immersive atmosphere where crushing heaviness meets haunting melodies and introspective themes.
Following their self-titled debut EP released in 2018, the band continued to refine their sound, culminating in the release of their full-length album Lithic in 2023. With their oppressive yet captivating sonic landscapes, Voidhaven stand as a powerful presence within the European doom underground.
