Before Easy Rider, Dennis Hopper starred in this dreamy, noir-tinged horror about a lonely sailor and the mysterious woman he falls for who may (or may not) be a real-life mermaid.
Shot on the Santa Monica pier and drenched in eerie atmosphere, Night Tide is a haunting mix of beatnik romance, seaside dread, and otherworldly charm. Think Val Lewton meets tiki noir.
