A backyard monster mash made in New England on almost no budget in 2012 by director Charlie Roxburgh, star/writer Matt Farley, and the assistance of their friends & family, Don't Let The Riverbeast Get You! continues to creep its way towards Cult Classic status with successful screenings around North America and an ever-growing online fandom. The movie depicts a small New England town that must work together to stop a seemingly unstoppable Riverbeast, and is a charming love letter to the no-budget regional horror films of the 1970s/80s dressed in 50's creature feature affectations. Get ready for high drama, thrilling action, and thick New England accents!
This screening will be followed by an in-person Q&A with star/director Charles Roxburgh & writer/star Matt Farley, and officially kicks off the a Motern Media retrospective which continues with a full-on Motern Marathon on Saturday January 11 at Spacy Microcinema!
