Donum mirabile: A wondrous giftAntonio Vivaldi’s lively Magnificat sets the scene in all its Baroque intricacy and splendour. Trace these influences in the ornate polyphony of motets by Anton Bruckner, as we celebrate the 200th year of his birth.
Other works include Benjamin Britten’s Jubilate Deo in C, South Australian composer Anna Zweck’s Magnificat, and Agata della Pietà’s Ecce nunc, reconstructed by Elizabeth Anderson.
Graduate Singers and Adelaide Cantata Band are thrilled to collaborate on this concert!
