Don’t Miss A Beat, Inc. (DMAB), the Jacksonville-based nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire and engage through artistic discovery, proudly announces it will host the Don’t Miss A Beat Jazz Festival at Woodstock Park – a family-friendly event featuring an incredible lineup of local talent performing alongside renowned headlining artists. The inaugural festival will take place July 24, 2021 from 1-9 p.m. at Woodstock Park in Jacksonville. Admission to the event is free to the community.Showcasing a robust lineup of dynamic musicians – from homegrown talent to Grammy Award-winning artists – the Don’t Miss A Beat Jazz Festival at Woodstock Park invites families, couples and music-enthusiasts alike to enjoy an exciting combination of performances specializing in traditional jazz, Latin jazz, funk, and soul with the community as the heart and focus of the event. In addition to outstanding musical performances, attendees of the family-focused event will enjoy access to delicious offerings from local food vendors, inspiring work from the artistic community, as well as the PNC Children’s Tent – featuring a bounce house, children’s stage and more.

To kick-off the Don’t Miss A Beat Jazz Festival at Woodstock Park, participants of the DMAB Broadway Experience: Summer Edition – a six-week summer camp that exposes youth to the power and freedom of the arts – will take the stage at 11:30 a.m. to perform their production of “In The Heights” by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of “Hamilton” the musical. Culminating the end of this summer’s program, the annual summer camp is DMAB’s longest running program, and supported by the community of donors and grants from Kid’s Hope Alliance.
