Gethsemane A.M.E. Church will be hosting a YPD Roundtable Discussion giving our young people space to discuss walking in your truth, forgiveness, living authentically with God.

The topics of discussion are a result of talking with youth and young adults from different groups (in and out of church) within the last year. We hope that this dialogue will enlighten church leaders to hear what pains, motivates, encourages youth to attend and join the body of believers. This is bigger than getting them to church; we want to get them to Heaven! We must show them we care but we require your help.
We encourage you to join us, promote the event, cover the costs of a child to attend or even bring them. This event is open to all young people; however, it will mostly be beneficial to children ages 10-24. The cost to attend the event is $10 per child. Each child will receive an AME Workbook, spiral notebook, pen, 988 mental health resources and lite luncheon.
At the conclusion of the roundtable discussion, we will offer each young person the opportunity to participate in a Mirror Making Workshop (1pm-2pm). A custom-made mirror that they will take home and look into everyday to remind them that they are stronger than their obstacles.
