Bernard is planning a romantic weekend with his Parisian mistress in his charming French farmhouse whilst his wife Jacqueline is away, and has invited his best friend Robert along to provide the alibi. An evening of hilarious confusion ensues as everyone improvises at breakneck speed in this farce-like comedy.
