Don't Die Munich - Casual 5km Run & Coffee Meetup ️

After a brief break due to some unpredictable weather that derailed our hiking plans, we're thrilled to announce a simple yet refreshing meetup. As we gear up for our big main event, it's time to reconnect and enjoy a relaxing day outdoors together.

Event Details:

• Date: 6th October
• Time: 14:00
• Meeting Point: Next to the Kiosk of the Reichenbachbrücke,
  Munich (Fraunhoferstraße 46, 80469 München)
• Activity: Casual 5km Run/Walk along the Isar

🏃‍♂️ 5km Low-Pace Run/Walk: We'll kick things off with a relaxed 5km run along the scenic Isar. This is a low-pressure, conversational pace, so whether you're a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely walk, there's room for everyone. If you'd rather not run the full 5km, feel free to join for a shorter distance or simply walk and enjoy the atmosphere.

☕ Post-Run Coffee & Socializing: After the run, we'll keep things casual with an open-end meetup. Depending on the weather and our energy levels, we can stroll around the area or head to a nearby café for a warm drink and good conversation.

Weather Contingency: In case the weather doesn’t cooperate (again), we'll skip the run and head straight for coffee and catching up.

Welcome and Briefing (10 minutes):

• Gather at the Kiosk at Reichenbachbrücke.
• Brief introduction to the day's activity, safety tips, and what to expect.

5km Run/Walk (~45-60 minutes):

• Begin the run/walk along the Isar, enjoying the natural surroundings and engaging in light conversation.

Post-Run Socializing (Open End):

• Depending on the group’s mood and the weather, either continue walking or head to a nearby café for coffee and further socializing.

• Punctuality: Please arrive on time so we can start the run/walk together.
• Inclusivity: This meetup is open to everyone, regardless of fitness level.
• Flexibility: Feel free to walk if running isn’t your thing!
• Weather Backup: If the weather is bad, we’ll still meet up for coffee.
