Donor Appreciation Invite: Daily Citizen Distinguished Citizen Awards 2025

As a member of our Chairman's Circle, President's Circle or News Leadership Circle, we invite you to join us for the 2nd annual Springfield Daily Citizen Distinguished Citizen Awards Reception. We will gather on the 2nd floor Gallery at the Gillioz Theatre to honor outstanding individuals and organizations making a positive impact in our community. The event will honor:

• Distinguished Public Service Award — Mayor Ken McClure
• Catalyst for Good Award (Individual) — to be selected mid-March
• Catalyst for Good Award (Nonprofit organization) — to be selected mid-March
• A Citizen of the Year to be chosen mid-March from nominations by readers
• Emerging Leader Award to be chosen mid-March from nominations by nonprofit organizations
  Appetizers and refreshments will be served, and a cash bar is available. A brief program to recognize the award recipients will begin at 4:30 p.m.
