A down-to-earth entertainer who knows no stranger, the Canada / Nashville-based singer, songwriter and performer has been using his musical gift since singing in the Carson City Band as a young adult and still strums and songwrites with his wife Shauna on the ‘65 Gibson Hummingbird his father taught him to play on. Donny Lee’s magnetic personality is not only a perfect fit for the stage, he also makes every single audience member feel like they are at their own personal concert, no matter what size the venue. Regularly invited back to perform at events, it is Donny Lee’s mission to ensure his fans have the best time possible at his shows.
Since 2014, Donny has been making his mark in Nashville playing at the famous honkytonk strip while promoting himself as a Country Music artist. Reviewers and locals alike say that Donny Lee is a must see performer in Nashville, and making his show part of your trip to the city is essential to the experience.
Donny is currently working on his own-penned 4th studio album. In 2017 he wrote and released his first album with his follow up album released in 2018, an EP in 2020 and his third album in 2022. He’s released 9 songs to Canadian country radio and his most successful, ‘Got Me This Far’, was also released to US radio and ran a successful 26 week campaign reaching #46 on Nashville’s Music Row Breakout Charts. ‘Got Me This Far’ and ‘Little I’m Livin’ On’ hit #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown.
Donny has played and been invited back to several rodeos including the Professional Bullriders tour stop in Nashville, Tennessee along with Ponoka Stampede, Wainwright Stampede, Lloydminster PBR, High Prairie Rodeo, Airdrie Pro Rodeo, Providence Grain Harvest Ball, Canadian Forces Base annual military party, Stagecoach Kickoff party, Kananaskis Pro Rodeo, Barrhead Rodeo, Ranchmans, Cook County, several self-promoted theater shows across Canada, private corporate functions and public shows in Canada, USA and Australia.
