Donations to Celebrate Nursing Banquet

The Metrolina Council of Nursing Organizations (MCONO), founded in 1986, exists for the sole purpose of celebrating the nursing profession. Since 1986, except for 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID pandemic, the organization hosted a “Celebrate Nursing Banquet”. At these banquets, nurses are pampered with hors d’oeuvres as they stroll through exhibits, a formal dinner, door prizes and inspired by the words of a motivational speaker. In the past, the event was funded by contributions from area hospitals, physicians, businesses, and the exhibitors that pay for table space AND by the nurses themselves. Our next banquet is May 11, 2023, at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Charlotte, NC.

We feel it is appropriate to invite anyone and everyone that has benefitted from the skills and compassion of a nurse to recognize and show appreciation to the nursing profession by donating to the banquet. We thank you in advance for supporting a healthcare hero—the NURSE.
