Dominoes Pop-Up with Kansas City Public Library
About this Event
Join us in collaboration with the Kansas City Public Library’s Dominoes Club, Madd about Dominoes, to enjoy an afternoon of friendly play and conversation amongst the installation: a place of dwelling by Puerto-Rican-born artist, Edra Soto.
Playing dominoes is an activity deeply rooted in Puerto Rican culture and community. Dominoes and domino tables have been a source of inspiration throughout Soto’s artistic practice, with past projects featuring interactive spaces encouraging play.
We welcome beginners and seasoned players alike. Learn more about KCPL's club, Madd about Dominoes, and how you can get involved at the Southeast Branch.
