Celebrate Oscar Peterson through this specially curated audio/video experience! One of Oscar Peterson’s lesser-known works, the Canadiana Suite, is an album composed entirely of his original compositions depicting his homeland of Canada. This album progresses in geographic order- from the east coast to the west coast- with each track depicting a specific geographic location or region. Rather than explain how these places look to you, Domi embarked on a journey by train across all of Canada, collecting footage of each location. These videos have been edited into a short film that will play alongside the Domi Edson Trio performing the entire Canadiana Suite so you can musically and visually enjoy this incredible piece of art by Oscar Peterson.
