Dom/sub Kink Speed Dating - Tuesday 30th July - Gents Tickets

We're here to help anyone who likes to explore their kinks and wants to find a genuine connection - whether it be for friendship, a long lasting lifestyle dynamic, a partner to wreck havoc at play parties or someone lovely to just curl up on the sofa and enjoy films with. Or ... dare we suggest.... why not all of them?

This is a super friendly and welcoming event of a nice and comfortable size. We’ve been lucky enough to attract such lovely guests so far :)

This event is specifically for ladies who prefer - or think they would prefer - their Gentlemen to take the lead, and for Gentlemen who are interested in such ladies.

We've sold out more often than not, so we'd suggest you don't wait if you're interested!

Gents, you will keep the same seat throughout the evening and will have around 5 minutes to get to know each lady before they move onto the next seated Gent.

There will be two short breaks during the evening so that you can refresh your drinks and rest your vocal chords.

After the event the space is yours to carry on socialising - there will be more people to meet, plus a chance to delve a little deeper into all the wonderful new connections you've started during your speed dates.

The venue is a lovely private space near Victoria Station and if you're feeling peckish, the pub does excellent food and you can order straight from your table.

Please arrive at 7pm to give everyone time to check in and grab a drink before the dating starts. If you arrive after we have started, we will get you seated as soon as we can, but we can't guarantee that you will have a chance to speak to all of the other attendees.

For the comfort and ease of all, we have one strict rule: you must never request anyone's contact details, however indirectly. If you would like to stay in contact, offer your details to them.

If you reach out to people you've not met because you've seen them interact with us online you're risking the full force of our wrath (and we do have the wrath). We've not had this silliness to date and we would like to keep it that way. It's not classy, it's not wanted and it sure as sugarlumps doesn't work.

Please make sure Eventbrite location/waitlist emails don't go into your spam! When we send out waiting list invitations you only have 24 hours to accept.

We are always on the lookout for accessible venues, but sadly, this is not one. There's a flight of stairs to get to the speed dating and no lift. If you would like to recommend a venue, please drop us line.

COVID safety note!

For the moment, for our face to face events we ask you to:

- be vaccinated (or medically exempt) OR be tested negative on the day of the event, AND

- be symptom free (this should be a no-brainer!).

We reserve the right to refuse entry.

What should I wear?

Most of our events are in vanilla venues like pubs, so whatever you would usually wear to a pub will be fine :) If an event isn't vanilla we'll be sure to say.

For speed dating, some people choose to come smart, some smart casual, and some straight from the gym. We'd encourage you to come however you feel comfortable.

Where is the venue?

If you have booked via Eventbrite, and the location is not on the ticket, an email will have been sent to you 7 days before the event (or closer if you bought within a week of the start).

If you can't see the email after checking your spam/clutter then drop us a line with the email address you used to buy the ticket (this will be easiest via Eventbrite ) and we'll resend the details :)

Please do check your spam/ clutter first though. That has solved this problem every time so far!

Can I have a ticket?

Please join the waiting list in Eventbrite if the event is sold out.

If you are sent a waiting list ticket and decide to purchase it, this confirms you have a place at the event. Once paid your ticket confirmation will have an order number and may still be titled waiting list - this is fine.

If there are special terms (for example, the Domme-sub m events) they'll be detailed on the FL event page and Eventbrite listing. Please follow those instructions.

We don't sell tickets outside Eventbrite.

I had a waiting list ticket invitation, do I have a ticket?

If you get an invitation, you have 12 hours to buy the ticket. You do have to actually buy the ticket :)

When is your next event?

It'll be listed as soon as it's arranged :) Please follow or friend us (or join this group) to get information as soon as it's available.

I met a lovely person but I didn't give them my details! Can you help?

You're welcome to post on our wall or in our group, we'll happily bump your post, but we won't share any details (and we don't save anything outside our ticketing sites, in any event).

Do you have a matching service?

We don't have one (yet :) ) .... but watch this space!

To make things relaxed and comfortable for everyone, we ask that you give your details to people you're interested in; no asking for details, however awesome they are.

Can I have a pen?

We will provide you with a couple of cards to make notes on, but please bring a pen if you'd like to use one. We don't charge enough to cover pens!

We don't mind people entering information in to their phones, though, and most of our attendees choose this route.

Do I have to give my real name?

Not to us :) Your payment details, if they are needed - which we don't see - will need to be right, but you can call yourself whatever you like!

How many of x-type of people will be there?

If it's relevant to the event, we offer an equal number of tickets for the roles - say, at a speed dating, and so far have been lucky enough to sell more often than not :) We refund all tickets to an event if no-shows mean we aren't able to offer a meaningful event (which we take to mean five dates).

The responses to the FL event will never be exactly the same as the attendees either, and so far we've had a range of people at every event, not all of whom found it via FL.

I'm looking for an xyz, is this event for me?

We'd like to encourage you to come looking for a person, not a generic human to fit a certain role, but assuming this is shorthand:

We try to focus the speed dating events on a certain connection, rather than the types of people (for example M Dom <-> f sub, F Dom <-> m sub or Rigger <-> Bunny.)

If you have a version of yourself who would like a given connection then yes, it's for you! We're not here to tell you who you are. We just ask that you bring the side of you relevant to that event.

Would you run an xyz event?

Maybe! Drop us a message and if we think we can do it justice, we might run it!

I can't come, what should I do?

Do come! The other guests are looking forwards to meeting you!

We don't offer refunds, but we'd really appreciate it if you could tell us: we usually have a waiting list of people we can reach out to. Not only does that help us keep an even number of attendees, it gives someone else a chance to come. Not turning up also makes us a little sad. We wanted to meet you too...

Something has gone wrong in Eventbrite!

Sometimes, Eventbrite seems not to accept cards, or offers to sell a ticket which doesn't exist. Much as we'd love to help, we don't know anything about the inner workings of Eventbrite.

For online speed dating, please, please, please make sure you have a reliable internet connection and working camera. We only just manage this ourselves so we can't fix yours!

Where are you based?

We are centered on London at the moment but we have had daters from a wide radius. Now we're online, the sky is the limit, but please bear in mind that most people will probably be in SE England.

Who are your speed dating events for?

You don't have to be exclusively D or s, cis or het, mono or poly, experienced or a newbie, or anything else for that matter. The connection we're exploring at each event will be given up front, and ticket types are sold on that basis. So long as that connection is what you are looking for at the event then everything else is your - and your date's - business :)

We really do want guests to have a great time, and meet wonderful people - that's why we do this :)
