Join internationally renowned piano player and songwriter Dom Pipkin at Peggy's Skylight this January. Pipkin has played solo shows at Peggy's, trio shows, and full "The Ikos" shows, and tells us it's one of his favourite places to play. As part of his January solo tour, he makes a Sunday afternoon visit to play the grand piano in "unplugged" format, allowing the beauty and complexity of the New Orleans piano styles to emerge and be fully appreciated.
Pipkin is described as "one of the world's greatest exponents of New Orleans piano" by Blues in Britain, and has worked with everyone from Ray Davies to Morcheeba, Paloma Faith and Paul Weller. He is a regular performer in New Orleans, has released several solo albums showcasing his songwriting and world-class piano skills.
