Learn the timeless art of Noongar doll making with renowned artist and community leader Geri Hayden!
This workshop invites you to create a personal doll using simple textile techniques. Each doll becomes a storyteller, embodying aspects of your life, family, or aspirations. Under Geri’s expert guidance, you’ll work with provided materials or incorporate something meaningful of your own—be it fabric, jewellery, or clothing. This hands-on experience is a chance to explore your creativity, connect with culture, and craft a keepsake that carries a unique story.

Suitable Age Groups: Children 7+ accompanied by adults

$15 per participant

About the Presenter:
Geri Hayden is a Wilman-Balardong Noongar woman and a celebrated textile artist. With years of experience in community development and cultural advisory roles, Geri has led Noongar doll-making projects since 2010. Her workshops have inspired countless participants by blending creativity, culture, and storytelling.
